Specification of HDPE SDR Class B Pipe 75 mm Length 6 Meters
SDR water pipe is a water pipe that is dedicated or intended for sewerage. As a sewerage pipe, this water pipe has the appropriate thickness and size specifications for wastewater so that it can channel waste water to the disposal site properly and without leakage. To identify this sewer pipe, usually the SDR water pipe has a brown color and is also quite thick in size.
SDR pipe or standard dimension ratio refers to the measurement and method that is often used by pipe manufacturers to assess the working pressure capacity of the pipe. It is calculated by determining the relationship of the outer diameter of the pipe to its minimum wall thickness. The higher the calculated SDR, the lower the amount of pressure that can be handled because the minimum wall thickness of the pipe decreases in proportion to the outside diameter remaining the same. The lower the calculated SDR, the higher the amount of pressure that can be handled because the wall thickness is thicker in proportion to the pipe diameter. For example, SDR 41 has thinner walls and a lower pressure class than SDR 11.
