Specification of Steel Steel Concrete Screw SNI Diameter 10 mm
Concrete iron, also known as reinforcing steel, is a steel rod or steel wire mesh used in reinforced concrete and masonry structures that serves to strengthen and hold concrete against the load received, as well as to improve the quality of the bond between concrete. Based on the surface of the concrete iron is divided into two, namely, plain concrete iron and screw concrete iron.
The purpose of reinforcement is to provide additional strength to the concrete where it is required. By inserting concrete iron into the concrete casting is intended to be able to provide resistance to traction and increase overall strength. Steel provides all the tensile strength where the concrete is under stress, as in beams, it complements the compressive strength of the concrete in columns and walls; and provide extra shear strength in and over the concrete blocks.
In terms of appearance, screw concrete is the same as plain concrete iron with a circular cross section, the difference is that the surface structure has a pattern on its surface. The pattern or thread on the surface of this concrete iron will vary depending on the manufacturer.
